Hudson's Birthday

Sorry about the lateness, there are two blog entries.. one dedicated to the little man's birthday, thank you to those who attended or sent presents!! The other to the 2 months its been since the last blog. My bad.

It's September 24 and all thru the house, not a creature was stirring, cos Hudson stole the spoon.

We like to call this the Noodle Chin Phenomenon

DAD, I LOVE MY NEW CAR!!! and that son will be the last time Dad buys you a car.

Being a greasemonkey runs in the blood. Hudson LEA Brown, sets up camp under his new wheels, G'Pa would have been proud!

Speaking of G'Pa, Hudson was putting the Lea in Hudson Lea with this stylish little number. Can someone please check to see if that shirt did get thrown away?

Harvey getting his nails did for the big day!

The preparations were all too much for Hudson, so a quick power nap in G'ma's arms before the big show.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, that damn couch has sleepy poison in it!

While Hudson is distracted, Harvey and Tahlia 'help' Hudson by opening a few presents

G'ma K shows off the new tambourine, Harvey spies a new wooden object to chew.

No Hudson, this is how you do sultry.

Mel works up a sweat making the cake'o'doom

A construction site, with trucks and boulders and 2 of the members of the Village People singing Macho Macho Man in the background... A shame the camera doesn't have sound!

It all got too much for some.

The obligatory family shot. Dad is sporting a dynamic blue, that helps hide the gut!

Mum and the man of the moment.

Balloons rock... however, after the Village People incident, I am starting to worry about the pink and purple balloons... Not that there is anythig wrong with that!

Dean man's up and goes straight for the prize!

I was going to write something rude here, like this is the first and last time I'll see Mel blow something, but I'd probably get slapped.

And she's so happy about it! Hudson, not so impressed

With great concentration, Dad makes small cakes from one larger cake.

And Gma K inhales said cake. Again I was going to say something rude here... But I'll refrain

Dictionary.com defines Centre of Attention as noun:
the object upon which interest and attention focuses, or see above.

Never one to be out shone, Mel resorts to parlour tricks

I already thanked you all for the presents, but this is a section of them, I actually couldn't get back far enough to get them all into the photo. Can anyone spell SPOILT

Dean once again man's up, seen here with an excellent headrest/couch, beer holder and Elmo cuddler, more commonly known as Tina.

The morning after, in a blow up car full of balls... get better!

Insert statement here re: dad blowing something... Hudson thinks its pretty funny

This funny!

I am totally cool!

Did I mention balloons rock!

Any one ever wondered what Mario does with those pipes...

Anything Hudson can do, I can do also!

K.out
